Enhance early childhood development for lifelong learning and wellness.
Participate in a shared vision to support healthy children, families and communities by:
Promoting healthy outcomes for children and families.
Bringing community stakeholders together to share expertise, experience and resources.
Providing opportunities for knowledge transfer and sharing of best practice.
Identifying existing programs target population and resources for target populations.
Providing community based programming for parents and children of preschoolers.
Advocating for healthy public policy in relation to preschool children/families at the individual, community, municipal and provincial levels.
Providing a mechanism for evaluation.
Identify and address gaps in service and resource needs and develop a strategic plan to address these.
Promote awareness of programs and enhance accessibility for families.
Strengthen communication/coordination between agencies and direct service providers.
Mission
MISSION STATEMENT
The Parent Child Connection Assiniboine North Parent Child Coalition works in partnership with families, service providers and community to strengthen existing programs, advocate where appropriate, facilitate community development and deliver programming based on established need.
VISION STATEMENT
Each child will reach their maximum potential physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually, supporting them to become compassionate, resilient contributing members of society.
